Hello there! 
My name is Colleen. I am a portrait photographer residing in KCMO with roots around the Midwest. I'm a coffee-fueled goofball with a highly creative core.  I take my work seriously (but not myself). My style as a photographer will have you laughing and relaxed in front of the camera. Don't know how to pose or express? I'll help you out!
Consultations are encouraged. I'd love to meet with you before we work together to create a concept that we both will love.
 I enjoy working with people to create images that bring together my subject's unique qualities and personality, while creating something that is also beautiful and artistic. To me, a portrait is not just a photo of a person, but also a visual representation of an idea and emotion. My work is vivid and human-focused, but I also love creating fine art prints of antique cars, nature, unique textures, and more. I studied photography at Kansas State University for two years, in addition to being self-taught and taking portraits since 2009.  I mainly shoot outdoors or on location, but I also have indoor studio equipment that can be set-up upon request.
